and photography, using images of the ocean and beautiful flowers she captures while walking through her neighborhood in Cardiff by the Sea, California.
Retired after 30 years as an Early Childhood Development Atelierista, Jeannette now enjoys researching and experimenting with different art techniques to discover and design original work.
Originality and designs inspired by the beautiful and amazing Mother Ocean and the Culture of Surfing that surrounded her through her 50+ years surfing.

My Medium
I use many different mediums, such as photographic images, nontoxic dyes, watercolors , pastels, and stitching. I believe that working in a single medium is restrictive to my artistic process. Each idea manifests in its own individual style.
My Inspiration
I enjoy spending my free time outside surfing, photographing nature, and going on walks around my neighborhood in Cardiff. I love brainstorming and coming up with new ideas while walking and admiring the gardens and foliage along the way.
